TCS warns of disciplinary consequences for not meeting Work from Office goals

The email sent to employees explicitly states, "Immediate compliance is expected, and you are required to report to your office location as per the assigned roster."

Simultaneously, the managers received an email instructing them to assign the "Return To Office" (RTO) goal promptly to their team members.
During the fiscal year 2023, TCS impressively onboarded more than 44,000 freshers. In the fourth quarter of FY23, which concluded in March 2023, the company added 821 employees to its workforce. Consequently, TCS's total headcount reached 614,795 by March 31, 2023. In total, TCS witnessed a net addition of 22,600 employees for FY23.
In terms of financial performance, TCS declared a 14.8% year-on-year growth in consolidated net profit for the quarter ending March 31, 2023, amounting to Rs 436 crore. Additionally, the company experienced a 17% increase in consolidated revenue from operations, with a total of Rs 59,162 crore, compared to the previous year's quarter, which generated Rs 50,591 crore.
